About Us

The Women’s Health Center was formed in 1985 by physicians who were committed to providing excellent care to women of all ages.

The Women's Health Center is also proud of its affiliation with the Skin Care Clinic, which began out of an effort to meet the needs of our patients who are interested in ways to maintain and improve the health of their aging skin. Learn more about the Skin Care Clinic at www.LebanonSkinCare.com.

Medical Staff

Charles Lanning, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Lanning, a native of Tennessee, graduated from the University of North Alabama with highest honors. Dr. Lanning then earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lanning has been practicing in Lebanon, TN since 1985.

Alan Roundtree, M.D.

Dr. Roundtree is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He attended Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma as an undergraduate. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Roundtree joined the Women’s Health Center in 1987.

Kay Mitchell, M.D.

Dr. Mitchell joined the Women’s Health Center in 1989. She is a native of South Carolina and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. She then earned her medical degree and completed her OB/GYN residency from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Mitchell has now retired from seeing OB patients, but continues to see GYN patients.

Christie Potter, RNC, WHNP

Christie is a certified nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology. She has a Bachelor of Science obtained from Middle Tennessee State University. She completed the Vanderbilt University Nurse Practitioner program and graduated in 2002 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. Christie is married and has two daughters.

Laurie H. Lee, RNC, WHNP

Laurie is a certified nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology. She has a Master of Science degree obtained from the University of Tennessee. She completed the Vanderbilt University Nurse Practitioner program and graduated in 2004 with a Master of Science in Nursing. Laurie is married and has one daughter.

Jeanne Sloan, Sonographer

Jeanne is a registered sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and has over 30 years of experience.
